Xmas Dinner at the Danish Club

Just arrived home from dinner at the danish club wow I ate to much and I mean to much, if Adrian wants breakfast tomorrow morning he will have to get it himself, because I don't think I can face food for the next 24 hours.........

If you ever wanted to experience a danish Christmas you will have to go we danced around the tree sang Christmas carols and basically had a really good evening.

The food was great we had for starters I had Prawns in a thousand island dressing and Adrian had a tuna salad which looked a bit weired but tasted oh so yummy.

After this and a couple of songs (danish of course) we had pork, duck, potatoes and caramelized potatoes, red cabbage and Waldorf salad yum.

For dessert we had ris a l'amande wow that was the piece resistance but again I didn't get the almond............

The only time I get the almond is when my parents cheated when I was little.

All in all we enjoyed ourselves and wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year.

moving

well at the moment we are trying to decide if we should move ourselves or have someone doing it for us as we are basically really lazy. The cost is amazing I thought it would be around $50-$60 per hour but boy I was wrong, the cheapest we have at the moment and that is with us packing. $149.00 per hour and the minimum is 2 hours........how do we know that they wont be slacking off...........how do we know that they wont take the long way around. So instead of taking 10 mins to get to our new place they could take the long way around and it take 45 mins. Where is the guarantees on these things.

Ok Ok I know stop complaining nobody cares.

Swedish Church

Yesterday we went to the Swedish Church to see what great things they had from back home (Denmark that is not Sweden) I wished that I had actually gotten to the tables in the hall itself, as I'm sure there would have been a couple of things there, I would need for my Christmas tree and for around the house.

But I wasn't that lucky, there were people everywhere and around the tables it was 5 deep and people were not polite they were pushy and I mean pushy. I have so many bruises and my feet the day after are still in pain from being stepped on.

So if anyone out there have a picture of what they sold at the Swedish Church could you please post it here. Thanks

The things I saw yesterday and had access to were food glories food there were so much thanks to the volunteers. I only had to wait in line 3 times and there were no pushing...........thank you.

And one final note to the day was that I had fun and it was a great day out I would recommend it to anyone Swedish, Norwegian, Finish or Dane you have to go its fantastic everyone is happy except around the Xmas decorations. The food were the best reminded me of home.
