Hobart the sunny city

I know its been a long time between drinks.......ok so posting on this blog but you know how it is nothing happening. Work is just not that interesting to write about its bad enough I have to go there :-)

Well now something exciting has happend I went to Hobart..........yeah.

This is how it started as I didn't know I was going I was thinking about doing my tax over the weekend..........

Now what would I rather Hobart or Tax its a hard decision.

I got home from work on friday (15/09/06) at 8.35 am and Adrian was there I panicked as I thought he was ill or something but no he told me to pack my bags as we were going soon. I asked where and was told nicely that it was a surprise..........

Bags packed and what was Adrian doing ??????? thats right he was playing some game on the computer so I had quickly packed a bag and found I could have wasted 3 hours getting ready instead of 20mins.

Finally we left into the car I want still bugging him about where we were going...........no answer.

As we were driving down Bells Street I realised we were going to the airport. So I asked if I should have brought my passport. Was told no.

Arrived in the airport long-term parking was full so we had to park in short-term so with that I knew still nothing.

As we were walking up towards the airport I was thinking Im going to somewhere warm..........but no Hobart was were we went.

Still in Hobart.

Here are some pictures from Richmond Bridge and Port Arthur (ok ok so just one pic from Port Arthur the gaol one)

The rest of the weekends pictures

If you go to Hobart you have to go to the Alpine Railways........it is the funniest thing I have ever seen. This guy set up a model railway in his garage and I mean set up it is amazing. The show goes on for 1/2 hour and there are about 5-6 trains going around the alpine region where this guy is/was from (he has past away and the son is carrying on). The fog is the best...............
